All the buzz this week around Nebraska is "Can we stop Heisman candidate Jake Locker and his rocket arm?" The answer is yes. Why? Because Jake Locker is a loser. He is 9-21 in his career as a starter. That means he has won less than 30% of the games he has played in. There are two types of quarterbacks out there: leaders who make those around them better, and individuals who pad their stats and don't worry about the end result. Locker is definitely the latter. Yea, he is a great athlete and fits into this "ideal pro quarterback" build. Sure, he is a great baseball player. But it comes down to wins, and he is awful at helping his team to win. You can give me the "he is surrounded by bad teammates" excuse and a million others, but I'm not buying any of them. The Pac-10 is the softest conference in the country to begin with, and then Washington turns around loses to out of conference teams too (BYU? You let the Mormons beat you Jake?) Get real with the "Locker for Heisman" campaign. When was the last time a quarterback from a sub .500 team won the Hesiman? Locker is the least of Nebraska's concerns this weekend. He will be on his back all day.
And what is going on in this picture? Does he always make out with his dad after games?

You're such a piece of shit. That was Jake and his father, Scott, immediately after upsetting USC last year... Fuck off. Pac 10 is nowhere near "soft" and anyone that watches the Pac 10 and UW play will honestly acknowledge that Jake has zero help on that team when it comes to a defense and his o-line. Kinda hard to win games when you have statistically the worst defense in the pac 10 the last few years that give up damn near 40 points and 400 yards a game. Kinda hard to "lead your team to victory" when he has no control over the defense. You'll eat your fucking words after the effort he puts up this saturday against one of the best teams in the country.
ReplyDeleteIt must suck to be that much of a sniping, inauthentic little weasel that you make gay jokes about a talented, dude who competes his ass off for showing emotion with his dad publicly. I feel bad for you man.
ReplyDeleteI think its great that your team eventually lost to Jake Locker and the Huskies in yall's bowl game that season. #Karma
